Jarrod Evans - Director and Head Coach (Level 3 TAHP Elite Coach)
VIS Triathlon Program Assistant Coach - Jarrod Evans has been coaching triathlon and multisport for 14 years, since 2003 as a full time professional coach. As an athlete, amongst his career he is a former Australian Junior Duathlon Champion and in 2007 was the fastest Australian Age Group Olympic Distance athlete winning the overall Olympic Distance Age Group Triathlon at the Australian Championships in his hometown of Geelong. For the last 6 years he has worked as the assistant coach with the VIS Program, and holds a Triathlon Australia High Performance Level 3 Elite Qualification. As well as being a fully qualified personal trainer and gym instructor, he currently heads up the Geelong High Performance Triathlon Program, guiding the best local juniors in the region. He is now working in the Triathlon Australia High Performance coaching system assisting the next lot of junior elite athletes successfully make the jump to the professional world stage. Since 2002 he has also seen the cross over in the development to elite long course athletes, now coaching some of Australia's fastest short course and long course age groupers and professionals.
