Coaching:
Commenced coaching in 1993 with the Level 1 course for Cycling.
In 1995 Jono completed his level 2 for Cycling and commenced coaching part
time.
While he continued to compete he coached people on a part time basis
including professional road cyclists who competed at the Tour de France.
In 2005 he moved to a specialist coaching role with Triathlon Australia
before commencing full time coaching at the VIS in September 2005.
Since 2005 he has worked with the likes of;
Erin Densham- Gold Medal 2006 ITU U/23 World Championships,
2007
Australian Sprint and Olympic Distance Champion,
2007 Oceania Champion
and 2008 Beijing Olympian,
4th place 2008 ITU Triathlon World
Championships.
